5.3 FOLLOW ME
After setting up the extensions, you need to decide if you want Elastix to call another prearranged extension, if the extensions called do not answer.
³»¼±À» ¼³Á¤ÇÑ ÈÄ ¾î¶² ³»¼±ÀÌ ÅëÈ­Áß µîÀ¸·Î ÀüÈ­ ¹ÞÁö ¸øÇÒ °æ¿ì ¿¤¶ó½ºÆ½À» ¹Ì¸® ¼³Á¤µÈ ´Ù¸¥ ³»¼±À¸·Î ÀüÈ­¸¦ °¡°ÔÇÒ ÇÊ¿ä°¡ ÀÖ´Ù.
This is where we will do it as per the illustration below:
¾Æ·¡ ±×¸²¿¡¼­¿Í °°ÀÌ ¿ì¸®°¡ ÇØ¾ß ÇÒ ÀÏÀÌ´Ù.
Select the PBX -> PBX Configuration -> Follow Me.
PBX -> PBX ¼³Á¤ -> Follow me ¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÑ´Ù.
You will be presented with the following screen:
´ÙÀ½°ú °°Àº È­¸éÀÌ Á¦°øµÉ °ÍÀÌ´Ù.

Select the extensions that you want to define (the extension selection is on the right of the screen).
¼±ÅÃÇÏ°í ½ÍÀº ³»¼±À» Á¤Çϼ¼¿ä(³»¼± ¼±Åà ¸Þ´º´Â È£¸é ¿À¸¥ÂÊ¿¡ ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù).
In this case, we will pick the Medical Centre Manager's extension - 'Manager <3001> add'.
ÀÌ °æ¿ì 'º´¿øÀåÀÇ ³»¼± <3001> Ãß°¡'¸¦ °í¸¨´Ï´Ù.

In the screen that follows (see the illustration above), enter the following information.
µû¶ó ³ª¿À´Â È­¸é(À§ÀÇ ±×¸²À» ÂüÁ¶)¿¡ ´ÙÀ½ÀÇ Á¤º¸¸¦ ÀÔ·ÂÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

- Ring strategy: ringallv2 (to call the main numbers then the other numbers)
-ÀüÈ­º§ Àü·« : ringallv2(ÁÖ ¹øÈ£¸¦ È£ÃâÇÏ°í ´ÙÀ½¿¡ ´Ù¸¥ ¹øÈ£·Î)
- Extension List:  °ü¸® »ç¹«½Ç°ú ¾È³»(¾È³»´Â °ü¸®ÀÚ¸¦ À§ÇÑ ¸Þ½ÃÁö¸¦ ¹ÞÀ» °ÍÀÌ´Ù) ´ÙÀ½¿¡ 2001 (Manager's extension)³ªÅ¸³­´Ù.
- Ring time: 20 seconds
- ÀüÈ­º§ ½Ã°£ : 20ÃÊ
- Destination if no answer: Core -  Hangup
- ÀÀ´äÀÌ ¾øÀ» °æ¿ìÀÇ ¸ñÀûÁö: Core - ÀüÈ­ ²÷À½

Every time the Manager's extension is called, Asterisk will try to connect to extension 3001 and if no answer, it will call Ext. 3005 and 3000 (Reception).
°ü¸®ÀÚ ³»¼±À¸·Î µé¾î¿À´Â ÀüÈ­´Â ³»¼± 3001·Î ¿¬°áÇÏ°í ¹ÞÁö ¾ÊÀ¸¸é ³»¼± 3005¹ø°ú 3000¹ø(¾È³»)·Î ¿¬°áµÇµµ·Ï ÇÑ´Ù.
If still no answer, it will simply hang up. During business hours, the reception or the Admin Office will take down messages for the manager or the Doctors.

Click ¡§submit¡¨ followed by clicking the red bar on top of the screen to finalise this selection.

5.4 RING GROUPS
A ring group is a group of extensions that will ring when there is an external incoming call.
¸µ ±×·ìÀº ¿ÜºÎ¿¡¼­ ÀüÈ­°¡ °É·Á¿À¸é ÀüÈ­º§ ¼Ò¸®¸¦ ³»´Â ³»¼±ÀÇ ¹­À½ÀÌ´Ù.
You can even put your Mobile Phone number in the ring group if you want to.
¿©·¯ºÐÀÌ ¹Ù¶ó¸é ¿©·¯ºÐÀÇ ÈÞ´ëÆù ¹øÈ£µµ ¸µ±×·ì¿¡ ³ÖÀ» ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù.

For the mobile phone to work, you must have the appropriate route and trunk set up.
ÈÞ´ëÆùÀ» ÀÛµ¿ ½Ãų·Á¸é Àû´çÇÑ °æ·Î¿Í º»¼± ¼³Á¤À» ÇؾßÇÑ´Ù.
You may not want a ring group - it's entirely up to you. If you don't require a ring group, you may ignore this section.
ÀüÀûÀ¸·Î ¿©·¯ºÐ ÆÇ´ÜÀÌÁö¸¸ ¸µ±×·ìÀ» ¿øÄ¡ ¾ÊÀ¸¸é ÀÌ °÷À» °Ç³Ê¶Ù¼¼¿ä.
When there is an incoming call to the ring group, the phones nominated in the selected group will ring. You may select different ring group for each of the incoming trunk or you may nominate the same group for all the trunks, in which case you will only need to define only one ring group.
¸µ±×·ìÀ¸·Î °É·Áµé¾î¿À´Â ÀüÈ­°¡ ÀÖÀ¸¸é ¹Ì¸® ÁöÁ¤µÈ ±×·ì¿¡¼­ ÀüÈ­º§ÀÌ ¿ï¸³´Ï´Ù. µé·¯¿À´Â º»¼±¸¶´Ù ´Ù¸¥ ¸µ±×·ìÀ» ¼±Á¤ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ°í ¶Ç ¸ðµç º»¼±¿¡ ´ëÇØ °°Àº ±×·ìÀ¸·Î ¼±ÅÃÇÒ ¼öµµ ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
For simplicity, we will only defined 1 ring group for all incoming calls from all trunks - at this stage, let's not get too fancy.
°£´ÜÈ÷ ÇÏ·Á¸é º»¼±À¸·Î ¸ðµç µé¾î¿À´Â ÀüÈ­µéÀ» ´Ü ÇϳªÀÇ ¸µ±×·ìÀ¸·Î ÁöÁ¤ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.
We will create a ring group 11 for this purpose. Let's call it AdminGroup as it rings all the phones related to the Administration of the Medical Centre.
ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ¸ñÀûÀ¸·Î ¸µ±×·ìÀ» 11°³ ¸¸µé ¼ö ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. º´¿ø °ü¸®½Ç¿¡ ¿¬°üµÈ ¸ðµç ÀüÈ­±Û·ÎºÎÅÍ ÀüÈ­º§À» ¿ï¸®°Ô ÇÏ´Â ¸µ±×·ìÀ» °ü¸®±×·ì(AdminGroup)À̶ó ÇÏ°Ú½À´Ï´Ù.
A single digit ring group is not recommended.
´Ù ÇÑÀÚ·Î µÈ ¸µ±×·ìÀ» ¹Ù¶÷Á÷ ÇÏÁö ¾Ê½À´Ï´Ù.
We have included the Manager's Mobile Phone number in as the last one in the group.
ÀÌÁ¦ °ü¸®ÀÚ ÈÞ´ëÆù ¹øÈ£¸¦ ÀÌ ±×·ì ¸¶Áö¸·¿¡ ³Ö¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.
If no one answers the call, Asterisk will simply hang up.
¾Æ¹«µµ ÀüÈ­¹ÞÁö ¾ÊÀ¸¸é ¾Ö½ºÅ͸®½ºÅ©´Â ÀüÈ­¸¦ ²÷½À´Ï´Ù.
Since the last number in the group is the Manager's mobile phone, generally, the Mobile phone voicemail will take the message if the phone is not answered.
ÀÌ ±×·ìÀÇ ¸¶Áö¸· ¹øÈ£´Â °ü¸®ÀÚÀÇ ÈÞ´ëÆùÀ̹ǷΠÀüÈ­¹Þ´Â »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¸é ´ëºÎºÐÀº ÀÌ ÈÞ´ëÆù À½¼º¸ÞÀÏÀÌ ³²°ÜÁø ¸Þ½ÃÁö¸¦ ¹Þ°ÔµË´Ï´Ù.

Next we will set up a couple of softphones to test what we have done.
´ÙÀ½Àº ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾Õ¼­ ½ÃÇèÇÒ ¼ÒÇÁÆ®ÆùÀ» ¼³Á¤ÇÒ °ÍÀÌ´Ù.
6 SET UP SOFTPHONES.
There are a number of softphones available for use with Elastix. Some of them are free.
Following are 2 examples of the free softphones.
6.1 COUNTERPATH X-LITE SOFTPHONE
X-Lite Softphones can be downloaded here:

After installing the softphone (assuming that users can install the softphone), we need to
configure the sofphone.
When you start X-Lite 3 for the first time, you will see the following screen.
Click the Add button.
You will then get the following screen.
This is where you will enter your credential
At the various fields, add the following:
„h Display Name: Your Name - not Ben
Sharif ļ
„h User Name: Your extension number
„h Password: The password of the
extension when you created it in Elastix
„h Authorization User name: The same as
your User Name or extension
„h Domain: Your Elastix IP address
Put a check mark in the Register with domain
and receive incoming calls
Make sure the Target Domain Radio Button is
marked.
For this purpose, that¡¦s all you need to do and Click apply, OK and close at the next
screen. You are now ready to use the X-Lite softphone.
Sometime it is necessary to change the Honor setting in X-Lite for it to work correctly. To
do this, you would need to go to the advance setting of X-lite.
Those using X-Lite having this problem may have to make the following correction in the
advance setting of X-Lite.
How to get to the advance setting?
In X-lite:
Dial ***7469 (SEND)
This will bring up the advanced settings window
Filter for honor
Double click on the honor entry and change the value to 1
